We offer a cozy vibe to relax and browse. Our items are thoughtfully curated from around Alaska, the lower 48 and beyond.

The founders, Jen Weits and Jess Moore, met at our very location some 18 years ago as “Cheechako's”. Jen was a new restraunteur and line cook at Jack Sprat Restaurant. Jess managed the cabin (Currently MoHuCo) for an accommodation’s company. Many an afternoon we discussed our love for Alaska and the trappings of the remote lifestyle on that back stoop. We made a commitment to each other, to live in design.

Over the course of the next decade Jen came to work as an Interior Designer at a long-standing architecture firm, in Girdwood. Jess successfully grew & managed, “The Spa at Alyeska Resort.” We share with you today the expertise and vision of the modern Alaskan home.
